I took a test ride today and surrendered 2200 dollars for the privilege of keeping the wild ear to ear grin I had immediately acquired. Fantastic torque and super sticky Metzlers made a very deep impression. I had just sold my 1990 Honda VFR 750 and happened across this MZ on Seattle CL. Wow. I mean WOW!!! I ride it 31 miles home and nearly laughed all the way. Life changing people, life changing. So now to the research. By the way I am in Portland Oregon

Most of mine get it. Some look at the motard experience as some kind of illness. I had the pleasure of speaking with a very interesting gentleman named Michael Cycz last year. His take on Street bikes was something along the lines of the only bike he would think about riding on he street is a motard. Not to put words in his mouth but that sparked an interest in me. If you aren't familiar google mototcycz. I was fortunate enough to tour his facility and You can tell folks that his bike is the real deal and I can't wait to see it win races.

This MZ is so different than what I am used to. I put almost 80 miles on it today and I still like it. Except the seat. Doesn't some one have a spare Corbin seat lying around for an old man.

Well, I rode it 160 miles today. I still love it. I think it needs a fly screen spoiled by the VFR I guess. I did a very mixed ride of about 1/2 windy roads and half main roads / freeway. I topped it out at 99MPH with my 240 pounds on it. I should lose 20 or so and get the ton from it. I found the instructions for my Evap cannister on the side of it and took it off this morning and dialed a little more pre-load into the rear spring. Oh yeah, I gave it a tail tuck yesterday too.
