Well welcome to the site at 22,000 miles i,d say you got your moneys worth ! Your riding free from here on !
I would say that you are one of very few,<less than 50 in the us with the 1000 mZ>
That feels good right ?
When the guys in the UK have a hard time with the 1000 you know if you are in the US you are screwed.
Like the dealer said just keep riding it.Problem is when they made that bike they didn't outsource the motor. In fact i think it's the most MZ bike MZ ever made.

" you are about to enter a time and place where there are no parts --- no warranties--- a place suspended in time(2005)---- a place called ---------- THE MZ ZONE!!!.

Either there are more than 50 MZ1000 in the USA or i have seen 1/2 of the 50 on ebay in the last year.
Have you had any trouble in the time you have had it ? Oh,i just checked and you joined today so i'm guessing you bought one of those Ebay bikes ?
The good thing is you can watch Ebay and get a backup for parts pretty cheap.
You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.
