Hi all,
I am new here in this group. I come from Wunstorf, a small town in Germany near Hannover. I started driving a motorbike when I was 18.
My first bike was a Yamaha XT250. I owned this bike 10 years and made long trips to Island and Nordkapp (Norway). Then there was a long
period where I didn't drive a motorbike. I restarted with a MZ Baghira Enduro. This bike I drove almost 5 years and was happy with it, a fantastic bike.
After almost 5 years I wanted to switch to a bigger bike, but unfortunatelly there was no big "Dual purpose bike" available from MZ. So my dealer
SK-Bikes came up with the idea to build one based on a MZ 1000ST.
And here is the result:

Welcome Wunni!! I almost didn't recognize the 1000 lurking under the new bodywork. All it needs is a shroud for the radiator and a two into one exhaust! Good job!!!

Hi Wunni,
I think your bike looks very unique ! Nice job and welcome.
You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.

Thank you for the warm welcome,

riding this version of a MZ1000 makes much fun. Everytime i make a stop at a bikers meeting point I have
much discussions with other riders of dual purpose bikes. Especially with BMW GS riders.

In Juli (last 2 weeks) i will make a tour to northern Sweden via small roads (mostly gravel roads). I think I will have much fun.
The current changes for this tour are: Aluboxes and Continental TKC80 tires.
I will present some pictures when I am back.

Cheers,
Wunni
