I'm guessing we are talking about what some of us call "Turn Signals", and there is a relay under the seat that has given me problems from time to time. I have found that problems are usually caused by a ground/short problem when only one side is affected, but the relay has acted up and caused it not to work at all. I would take a look under the seat and check for shorts. The switch on the handlebars seems pretty simple and failsafe, so I doubt that is causing problems. I think I would be sure your bulbs are all OK. Good luck!
