Bought a very nice '95 Saxon Country 500 back in Oct. '07 from a guy down in Sylva, NC for $1900 and have been enjoying it immensely since.
Most of my riding buddies have "dual-sport" bikes and finally convinced me I needed one as well. It didn't take much convincing since I wanted to get back into doing some off-paved-road riding anyway - the last bike I had that was capable enough was a '87 Cagiva Alarossa 350. The Cagiva was just too difficult to get any parts for, vibrated way too much and eventually had an ignition unit failure.
I'd love to own a 125SM and a 1000S as well, but alas, I am but a poor self-employed motorcycle mechanic.
The plan is to sell off all of my Guzzis except one (my '69 Ambassador), modify the Country some to make it a bit more comfortable and capable, then maybe add another MZ (maybe a Saxon Tour fitted with a police fairing if I ever find one). 
A bit about myself: I live in western MD, been riding and wrenching for the better part of my 45 yrs. Dad was the local Mr. Fix-It and an excellent welder/fabricator and had us out in the shop almost as soon as we could walk. I've owned too many bikes to remember - everything from the usual Japanese stuff to Aermacchi/Harleys, Benellis, Capriolo, Morinis, lots of Guzzis, CZ/Jawas and Zundapps. I own a small independent repair shop specializing in vintage and classic European motorcycle repair, service and restoration. I've been deeply immersed in the '67-'75 Guzzi "big twins" since '97 (Guzzis in general since '84), but have recently decided to go with smaller, lighter, slightly more modern bikes for my primary riders.
