the transplanted Cuban fellows like these 2 smokers
and drive up the price on real clean ones
they may have had one in Cuba in the past and had to leave it behind
when i move i like to take my toys along ..

when you move from Cuba to the USA all you may get to take is a clean
pair of pants if that!

Dave,
I don't think you realize just how Ebay works...John

EDIT you can't move from Cuba to the USA,the general escape mode is by boat and many don't make it.

escape mode is by boat and many don't make it.

my point was neither do the mz motorcycles
and the price may get high if the fellow would like to replace one he had left behind..
i also understand the phantom bidder driving up the price

watch when i try to sell one of mine
it will be clean and get disgusting low bids

i have a bunch of old BMW's in my basement and
refuse to sell running bikes for basket case prices

OK let's start over. This was my post with a link to a 1974 250 for close to $8,000 It's called shill bidding.Who in there right mind would pay that kind of money for that bike. They made a million, the MZ 1000 has a lower production number. In 1974 it probably sold for $1,400 new.

Hi,
It's not even an original TS250. It looks like an ETZ251 with a TS tank and side panels or a TS with an ETZ251 engine and Kanuni seat/cast wheels.
That's probably why it's listed where it is. Probably worth a 10th of what they're asking.

The Ebay listing would have you believe the bike sold.

But It's on Craigslist now http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/mcy/1543400345.html
