:smt006 Hello fellow MZ Riders. I recently aquired a 2003 Baghira this past month and have really enjoyed it. :-D Your forum has been a great source of information on this bike and I have spents quite a few hours here pouring over all the posts. Having owned an Aprilia a couple of years ago, I'm no stranger to somewhat challenging parts sourcing. Hopefully all will go as smoothly as possible.

I've noticed that there is a couple of you that live in, or close to Knoxville and it would be nice to meet you sometime. If you are up for it, I'm having a get-together this Saturday evening (weather permitting) with a bunch of the local riders. We are going to be hanging out bs-ing, riding fiddys, enjoying a small bonfire and what not ( Image ). If you're interested let me know and I will get you the details. Cheers!

Hi fellow Baggi owner! :smt006
Love mine to bits - best fun I've had on a bike in ages. Found this forum so useful - even my bike shop takes info from here when they end up having to work on my bike (thanks you lot)

I had a 2000.5 Mille...freaking loved that bike. Nothing like a v-twin liter! God rest her soul though as I had a nice get off and snapped the frame right at the stem/triple. I parted her out and now she lies in pieces spread between Austrailia and Sweden. I will have another one...one day. They make a really nice bike.

Anyways now it's Baggy TIme!

Knoxville here! Near Cedar Bluff and Middlebrook. Might hit you up this weekend. Prolly be riding this Thu and Friday as I have four days off this "weekend."

I do have a couple of Baggi shots here:

Where did you pick yours up at, hadn't seen any advertised locally in a while?

I also live in that area off of Chert Pit so you're just around the corner. Can't believe I haven't seen you riding. BTW nice pics of the Baggis. Your seat looks very comfy...no doubt it's probably custom. Did you get it around here? That was my only complaint after the first couple of long days on the bike...ouch. I guess I'm getting used to it now though because it doesn't hurt to sitdown anymore. I got the bike from a guy named Ken who lives in Northeast Knoxville. He had it advertised on our local riders forum back in March and just had never sold it. I believe he had it on here too cause he told me about this site.

I have to work Thurs & Fri so no joy riding those days for me. :( You should try to make it Saturday evening if you can. There should be a good turn out with a lot of local riders. Check out the link below from our local riders forum and that will have all the details. If you can't bring up the page or what not then let me know and I will PM you the details. If you're not a member then sign up...it's a great community of mostly mature minded riders that have a lot of get-togethers, group rides, bike clinics and so on. There is also a good wealth of knowledge there on riding tips, bike maintenance, suspension setups and so on and so on. I go by the same screen name there and most every other forum I'm on for that matter.

LMAO. I live off Joe Hinton, we must about 1 mile apart...

I was worried that with a name like squiddaddy there wasn't much "mature rider" status in there.. LOL. BTW, I just got a NoMar tire changer, so lemme know if you need some tires changed. You can pay me just a small fee.. ;-)

I will keep you in mind on tire changing when that time comes. As for my screen name...well that is a long story from a few years back. :-D
