Hi
I have been a long time MZ rider . My first bike was a green 1985 ETZ250 which i owned for 11 years and used for commuting and rallies . Now I have another green 1986 ETZ250 and use to commute (when its running :( ) I now have a Guzzi for the bigger runs . I have a passion for all bikes especially vintage stuff .
I live in Australia so you don`t see many other MZ ands most people have no idea what an MZ is .
Cheers :D

Hi there :smt006
Love the reactions of some when I turn up on my Baggi - mainly a puzzled look, not many MZ's around here either LOL

Here in Colorado, even those who know bikes don't know what an MZ is. The most common comment runs along the line of, "I've never seen a motard with wire wheels". Or, "Oh yeah, I know what an MZ is, my buddy has a Vespa". You have to keep in mind that the bike "du jour" here is any type of cruiser. I'm actually thinking about getting a Bonneville to do a little longer distance stuff with my wife.

Hello,
Good to hear from down under.
Last year when Casey Stoner was doing the buisness in the Moto GP, i spent my 40th Birthday at Phillip Island and had a great time, but as you say theres not alot af awareness of the MZ marque in OZ.
I tried to contact any groups or individuals involved with MZ without sucess.
So well done spead the word and keep the faith.
Simon.
