Hello from Sweden............

Postby Anders-MZ » Thu Sep 30, 2004 3:53 pm

.....Hi! My name is Anders

I'm back on a bike after twenty years  I'm 44 years old and was riding on road bikes in my early twenties but I had to give it up when I got married and had children.
Three years ago I bought a Yamaha XT600 -96 and had it for a year, but I wanted a little more power, a little more torque, over all a little more bike. I found a Baghira Enduro with 550 km on the meter (aprox 36 miles) and half the new price, I couldn't resist it.
Maybe I should be careful of what I'm whish for - I just might get it  The Baghira got it all - what a bike! I love it.
As much as I can I take my Baghira off-road. During a weekend I often ride 150-400 km (aprox 100-265 miles) on dirtroads, trails, and light enduro tracks. It seems that most of you guys here rides the Super Moto version, maybe I will buy Super moto wheels when the spring comes, it's autum here i Sweden and it's six month before the spring comes.
Here are some pictures of me and my bike.

You live 30 minutes from the MZ factory, whats it like getting parts where you live?
Also can you pick up slightly defective panels cheap? I am sure that there would be a market for them on this site :D , espesially tank panels that could be cut down to tidy the front end up a bit.

I think you are right, it would be a good source of income. :D
But I'm sorry.... I haven't any connections to the factory. :(

It seems that most of you guys here rides the Super Moto version, maybe I will buy Super moto wheels when the spring comes,

my dealer here in the states told me yesterday that MZ is making a kit that converts from enduro to supermotard for about 1000. US He told me the switch involves no more work than simply changing the wheels.

If you have the full height version if the street moto i don't see why not...the reduced height version might be problematic tho...i'll ask today, we're going down there anyway, and get back to you. :)

The front brake rotor and caliper bracket are different too. So for $1000 if you got wheels and rotor and bracket that would be a good deal. :-)
