Silver Star side toolbox cover

Postby cycomoto » Wed May 06, 2009 12:33 pm

Guten Tag! I am new to the group. I have just purchased a 1994 Silver Star 500 Gespann with factory Velorex 562 combination. What a great looking bike. . The rig is mostly complete and just needs a little TLC. I am looking for the side toolbox cover that goes on the left side of the bike. Anyone know where I might be able to pick one up? This is not my first MZ. I also have a 1984 MZ Superelastik Seitenwagen rigged to a 1984 Yamaha XT600Z Tenere. They are perfect for each other. I look forward to the chat. Danke.

Unfortunately, I don't think www.mz-b.de lists parts for the "newer" models. Perhaps another source?? Thanks.

ask mz-b.de may have excess to some of the newer stuff as factory may have sold off
parts to raise cash in hard times in the resent past
or it may be same as etz 251 301 as rotax powered bikes seem to use a lot of older
chassis parts

and http://www.ost2rad.de/
may be a source

there is a fellow in spain that may know who has the part
hope he chimes in with source
also some one in the uk may know a breaker that has a donor in the bone yard
i will look at my parts book and see if i can find the number
