Chain Loosening

Hey Guys,

Question - if a Chain loosens way too often - like I mean I need to get it tightened every three or 4 weeks (and by that time it is REALLY slack), then what could that be? I have already changed the Sprockets and that hasn't made a difference - is there anything else in the equation that could be causing this issue, please?

This may be a stupid thing but is the rear axle bolt tight?
Are the adjuster bolts loosening as you are riding along, try replacing with nyloc nuts.

Does the axle move when you have tightened it up properly?
Is the chain running in a straight line, (does the sprocket look worn on one side or the other).

sounds to me like you need a new chain. i always change the chain and sprockits at the same time as a half worn chain will soon wear out new sprockits
