TS250 supa 5 clutch cover removal

I'm having a bit of trouble getting the clutch cover off my TS250 supa 5

all the slot head bolts came out o.k and the kick start, gear lever etc have been removed, rev counter drive removed, and now with a lever i can only get the cover maybe 4mm away from the rest of the engine

Is there any other internal part which, maybe preventing the cover coming off or should i force it off??, do they normally come off easily??

I'm assuming you've removed the clutch cable as well. Try not to force the cover off as this could cause damage.

Also someone may be able to copy a few pages from an official service or Haynes manual if you ask nicely. I think the regalia officer of the MZ RIDERS CLUB also has available a copy of the manual you can buy.

There is no need to remove the kicker, it comes off with the case and stays with the case. If you have all the screws out then there is the nut under the tacho spline which has to come off, at which point there is a bit of gentle tapping with a rubber mallet.

Why are you removing the clutch?

hi there

i'm removing the clutch cover as the bike came with the clutch cable disconnected for some reason and i want to get inside to get the mechanism working

i've added some links below of how it looks now, which is the nut on the tacho?, there seems to be a kind of round collar type ring which may unscrew around the base near the tacho bearing with a special tool??

The clutch cover comes out 4-5mm then refuses to budge.
