A U.S. MZ rally?

Has anyone thought of having an MZ rally in the US? I'd like to suggest
maybe an informal gathering somewhere here. Nothing in the lines of the
BMW rally, of course. Just a campground or park with bikes and bs. Its
a bit late for this season, perhaps next summer? Any thoughts?

really need for the fellows to post there city and state in there profile so we can get an idea where most of them
are located then see where it could be that a lot of them were close enough to make the trip
there seems to be almost no one in ohio there was one in charleston wv but have not heard of him in a while

and i am taken in aug the weekend they have the 4 winds rally in pa and sept is not good as i work a lot of weekend bus trips to football games and sports on friday nights and sat

I'd give it a try with enough notice.
Next spring/summer would be great.
Maybe something "regional" if not enough interest for a larger area?

I'm working too much right now to help with organizing, but when/if things slow down, I'd be glad to pitch in.

Informal MuZ/MZ ( all years and types) meet in New Jersey (USA). Sunday September 27th (Rain or Shine) 10AM - 12PM. Blairstown Airport, Blairstown, NJ ( less than 2 hours from Philly and NYC).

Maybe a ride after a bit to eat.

i checked out the blairstown meet and even though it is tempting, i dont feel comfortable riding out that far from home having having the little riding experience i have.
hopefully i'll put in many miles before the winter comes and evne more next spring and be ready for the next meet up

It might be a good idea to meet somewhere in the southeast . The Tail of the Dragon has always had good turnouts for the many differrent power sport interest groups. This is Highway 129 in North Carolina near the Fontana Dam site. There is a hotel in Robbinsville, NC which is very close by. Camping available at the dam and a motel at Deals Gap. How's this for an idea.. Meet at Vintage Motorcycle Days. I was there
a couple of years ago and had a blast. For those who have never been,
its motorcycle heaven. I paid little or no attention to the actual races
that were going on that weekend. I spent most of my weekend sifting
through boxes of parts in the vendor section (which is huge)

The camp scene was nothing like outdoors camping. The sound of a two
stroke was heard at all hours in all corners of the campground. There
was even a pizza and beer cart that travelled through the campground.
It was a great time, without question.

I'd be up for that, missed going to VMD for the last two years. Can I attend if I bring my '82 KTM 504 GS? It's now powered by the engine from an MZ Saxon Tour.
