Starting After A Layoff.

Postby Whysub » Fri Nov 12, 2004 11:40 am

Due to work commitments, I have not used my Baggi or Skorpion for the last 6 weeks. Yesterday I had a rare day off, so decided to go to the NEC on the Skorpion. Except that it refused to start, to the point the battery flattened.

Got the Baggi out, and it started 4th or 5th attempt (once I remembered to switch the fuel tap to ON). Seeing as the Baggi has been laid up 2 days longer, what could I be doing wrong?

Both are kept in a dry brick garage. Going to have to spend some time on that tomorrow, when I should be fitting my new exhaust to the Baggi.

the batteries appear to be pretty low quality on the MZs, so it may just be that yours is on its way out...My MZ starts first or second go even after being left all week...also, sometimes seems to start better on half choke even if left a while.....

Put some pics up of your new exhaust..BTW what one did you get in the end? :-)
