Hey everybody.

Two days ago, I bought a clean (6k on the clock) '95 Skorpion Sport and I LOVE it. No more four bangers for sure. So simple in design, sweet handling, etc. MZ is definitely on to something.

Couple of questions:

Where can I find an owner's manual and Clymer's style service manual? I understand there's also a separate service manual for Yamaha engine.

Any funky traits I should pay extra attention to?

What are some of your favorite upgrades? "Stanley 2" already has an aftermarket pipe, but I'm thinking new controls, clip-ons, and rearsets. Any suggestions?

Anyway, thanks for any input!

I've got a '94 Tour and like it just the way it is :lol: thats not to say I wouldn't make mods if I could, but I can't!

I would recommend an M4 Can, The Improvement in low end torque was better than I expected and when you get the stock can off you won’t believe haw heavy that thing is. Good luck man I've had my Sport Cup since Aug. and I love it.

hello

things will be ok but expect it to be interesting as to what goes bad
or breaks check out the electrical system for green copper oxide
on the connections carry extra tail lamp bulbs
its a BIG single so dont be suprised if thing break and fall off
just make sure you are not what falls off

I bought a MZ RT125 a little over 2 years ago i liked it so much i bought a 95 saxon tour a year later 3000 last year on the 125 and 2500 on the tour (500cc rotax) the 4 bmw bikes i have are being left to waste in the basement
the rt125 is the most fun i have ever had on a bike

PS the RT125's nick name is MIGHTY MOUSE 9000 miles in 2 years 4 months
the saxon tour we call HARDLY (hardly-a-davidson
because HD used the same ROTAX motor on a bike

thanks a ton for the advice.

i already have the M4 pipe in aluminum, it's pretty loud but easy to control, and the low end punch is fun for making gaps in rush hour (sensibly of course...).

any thoughts on clipons? my stock ones are loose where the bar meets the clamp. they appear to be held in only by one swaged pin. perhaps a drill out and epoxy a new flanged pin in it's place....

also, my left control rotates separately from the grip. upgrades? nicer levers? radial master cylinder?
