Washing machines and MZs....

Postby bikerbabe » Fri Dec 10, 2004 6:32 pm

The rear wheel bearings on my '94 Skorpion Tour are on the way out. I have got the part numbers from MZ (The part number for the wheel bearings is 90-13.177 and the sprocket carrier bearings is 90-13.188 There are two of each fitted to the rear wheel assy.) but a friend reckons they might be interchangeable with washing machine bearings (which he has in stock).

Would this be the case d'you think?

hello

the parts book has a description after the number

like on my saxon tour

6 93-94.236 Rillenkugellager DIN625-6302-2 Z

the din number tells a bearing store what it is but also take the original
for them to measure
for mine skf 6302 -2z
find din number number in your parts book and i may be able to tell you what brand and number but they will be of a better grade than in a washing machine

I just had the wheel bearings changed on my Skorpion Sport race bike. I'll try and post the bearing numbers shortly.
