Only 940 more pages (of 50 messages) to go...

Somehow therealche is quicker at this than me. We'll get there.

Right! That's the last board cleaned. Hopefully the forum is now spam free! If you come across any please report it so we can get rid of it and the spammers responsible. Thanks to Puffs, David and Boris for getting the forum back on it's feet.

Could I ask is there any viable way of making a system that bots(?) are unable to regster and post?

It was a long time ago I signed up to this site so I have no recollection of how easy it was, but it must be very easy to do. Could we have MZ specific questions like some forums do- then moderator approval creates the account? I don't know the features of this board.

Re: Current state of the board = ALIVE!

Currently it's Admin approval for new members. I still have to ask Kutt what they do on the D forum, and how they've implemented that (but it may have to do with the location they ask?).
The problem with something like an MZ-specific question is that every AI-bot will know the answer...

That said ... Looks like you, BM, reported 1 new spammer, + there's another spam post. Both spammers banned & messages deleted. In fact, one of those guys I sent a warning yesterday, when I deleted 5 older posts of him ("don't spam or be banned"), maybe that's why he posted this morning?

And also: why always the 660 forum?

Don't warn them, just get em banned! :smt021 And once a board has been heavily spammed that address get known by the spambots.
