Postby iaMZip » Wed Feb 09, 2011 2:48 pm

crashed my bike - 2003 skorpion tour. Need a new right hand side mirror, front turn signal, and foot peg.

Thanks!
Oh, might need new handlebars too. Can they be straightened?

Hi, hope you are OK. Contact board member hb7@ca.rr.com. He was able to help me out with similar parts for my crashed Traveller. Suggestion... update your profile with at least your country so others know where to send you for parts. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I finally got in touch with my MZ guy here in Philladelphia - he says he has some MZ parts lying around, so I will try him first.

Dave, I am of course aware of Grahams, but being in the US I would like to try and get it here first, so I don't have to pay for shipping etc.

Thanks again!

Roland found me a mirror with only one crack, a turn signal housing missing a lens, and a passenger footpeg. These all work for now, but are less than ideal. He's going to continue digging through his boxes. In the meantime, if anyone has a front turn signal lens, undamaged mirror, or right hand side footpeg, I'd be interested.

Thanks

Thanks to all who replied.

The Skorpion is now almost 100%. Roland at spare parts found a new mirror, and replaced the bent handlebars with Bikemaster European ones. A very kind member here sent me a lens for the turn signal housing and a proper footpeg. All that remains is the brackets which mount the turn signal and headlamp to the forks - I have an acquaintance with a welder, and am hopeful that they can simply tack weld this together for me, as it looks to be a bear to replace. After that it will be 100%!

Yes, Roland is a good guy. He was able to help me out with my Silvy a couple of times. :-D
