Damn I love that bike!!

Postby Old Dog » Fri Mar 18, 2011 3:21 pm

Had to go to a funeral today 25miles down and 25miles back through rural wales, faultless, taut, great sound, sweet power delivery just swinging through the bends without a care untill the next queue of cars.

why they very stopped making the Skorpion I'll never know.

Old dog,
Sounds like you had one of those moments when it all just clicks into place, man and machine in perfect harmony :D

Indeed Dave, although it was only momentary (it came and went) as there was so much traffic. Not like the 110miles to north Wales door to door one summer's day when I did it in two hours. Every over take was a roll on in the midrange Doesn't sound much but with towns limits and the roads in west Wales I was shifting.

Me too. I've always been partial to thumpers, and regretted parting with my beloved SRX 600.
I was fortunate to find a nearly new Skorpion Sport a couple years ago, and it makes me smile every time I ride it.
What great bikes they are!
