Hi All ,This is my first post so its only polite to introduce my ride and say hi,HI
For Christmas i bought myself a immaculate mz baghira ( baggy ) from a local lad , 2003 model black panther
with i think 16000 km's on the clock , just run in i suppose for that engine,Had a mid life chrises two years ago and bought my childhood dream " Honda crm 250 " That bike completed the deck . i have owned nearly all the range of Honda scramblers.xl50/125 /185/3 x 250's , and so on ,i loved all of them , i love the riding position and the off road ( off pavement ) fun.To be honest though the crm was fun but hard work over longish distances so i sold it and bought an lcd tv , whoooo , two years later and now my boys gone and passed his cbt and bought a derbi senda wizzer thing.lol.Not letting him on then road without me..Allways fancied the Yamaha xt660 but they are well pricey ,looked at the husky and the ktm , also pricey, then found out about the baggy and could not believe to price , i get top quality engine top quality suspension , quality brakes and wheels , all for half the cash , i love the design although i see its not to everyones taste,
The Trouble is
Ive only rode it 4 times , Things just wernt right ,Most of it was down to not being on a bike for two years.i felt the handling was all over the place , felt like it wanted to stand up all the time while cornering, eww, few other problems ,like getting used to the gearing , meaning top gear is like an overdrive and not something to get more acceleration out of
the standard exhaust (soon to be changed ) im sure is bogging it down and the rev limiter cuts in like you have just
chucked out the bottom end (sudden death).Had the same old problem with the side stand switch , fixed that, just dont go out in the rain now , haha,, so i feel like I'm ranting now like a madman,
So heres the mods so far and the stuff Ive bought for future mods
renthall twinwall handlebars titanium look
triumph speed triple fat bar risers ,polished aluminum, adapted to suit
pro taper dual density grips
i have two types of new link pipe.one is a polished stainless steel bsm type and the other is a polished xt600 link pipe , now I'm looking for either a vampire ( not future ) end can or to match the yammy xt600 link pipe ill need the larger diameter headers and ill saw the end of the link pipe and fit a slip on .ran out of space ,ill post photo . so hi all
Oh mutly,,you did it again, she he he he he ehheheheh

hi and welcome, thought i made a big mistake when i bought mine new after only a short test drive, but that soon changes when you get used to it,great fun and corners very easily thoughv bit of a shock going from a zzr1100 to the baghira,i assume you have supermoto version and not the enduro as mine with the enduro wheels is a bit floppy on corners, probably the 15psi i have in the tyres  ,sm wheels it all changes though.
