Hi
I know this is an old post, did you ever put together a sidecar rig? I have a line on a velorex, might try it on my Country.
My service manual shows a couple of details about the sidecar "option" but not the actual mounts.
Do you have any other pics of the 500 sidecar?

have very little info on side cars for MZ
but plan on doing some thing in the future
as wife can not ride behind me because of back problems
and i am slowly loosing the use of my legs
so will rebuild one i own or some scratch built thing
have a bmw /2 with r75/5 motor in the shed being built
to drag one with
but got a light fiberglass one for the 500 saxon tour
the mounts are the problem

I just saw this and sent some pics to Dave.

Have the Velorex sidecar manual too if you need. Good pics in it also.

hope you have fun with it
dave

side car rules
1 do not let friends or enemies take test drives
2 do put the biggest passenger in the chair and the kid on the back
makes for a better ride
3 QUOTE from my father "a man in a hurry should take a airplane and leave the side car at home"
4 as above dont try for speed as you will kill the motor very quickly
