Hi chaps and chapess's.

Am thinking of returning to the MZ fold.Had my last one about 20 years ago,but my knowledge of the later models is not good.Have had TS125,TS250,TS250/1,ES 250,ETS250,ETZ 125,and last but not least GS250,which I road raced,hill-climbed,trails and road use.Boy was that old girl fast.
But the burning question is ------- TS250/1 Supa 5 or ETZ 250,which is the best to own and live with long term.

All the best from south west France

They say that the TS has more torque and is now more of a classic but for my money it would be an ETZ250 not the 251.

Also if you can manage it get an ETZ301 motor and bung it into an ETZ250 frame. Not a bored out ETZ250 as they can be thirsty. The 301 is a lovely mill and the ETZ250 gives more of a big bike feel as well as luggage carrying capacity.

OF course the other big winner over the TS is the brakes, brembo clones up front - against drum, no comparison.

Good luck
All the best
