From a dead stop (seated midway back on the saddle), rolling forward in first gear, 'slam da frottle' to compress the forks, then as the forks rebounded I leaned back and goosed it good. Up came the bike into my chest, balance point approached and lofted the wheel smoothly as I accelerated... the wheel dropped back down just as smooth on the far side of the intersection. Never hit the rev limiter either.

Felt like bike was vertical so that means wheel was 6" off ground, right? My g/f said it looked "hot" and "the front wheel was way high up"... but then she's trained to say nice things bout me.
I'm guessin that since I brought the bike to my chest I did lean forward... now I am practicing more small wheelies and working on controlling that reflex.
