"International" motorcycle show

Postby Nobog » Tue Feb 08, 2005 1:48 pm

:? My 2 bits of the "International Motorcycle Show" in Minneapolis Minnesota this past weekend; No MZ's, no Aprilia's, no Husky's, 'one' trials bike (a Montesa, very well used), no Housyuns. no Derbi's, no Sherco's, one KTM, however there was an entire fleet or Urals. $12 per head + $9 parking. Tons of Harley do-rags (oh boy). Summary - boring, read your motorcycle mags and save a bunch of money, at least at this location. Jim

KTM had a decent booth at the ATL show, I think it was a local dealer tho. Aprilia has been at past shows, but prob doesnt have the extra $$ to do it this year. No MZs tho :( had a lot of fun at the ural booth adding "when its running" to the end of every comment made about the bike by the rep.
it was still $12 admission but I scored a few $2 off passes at a local suzuki place, parking was free :D

besides, there was one bike at the Atlanta show that was worth the price of admission just to see and touch (gently):

That looks better, the Britten is A1. Come to think of it, no MV Agusta's, no Nortons either at Mpls.
