crashed today

Postby phlat65 » Sun Jun 27, 2004 8:03 pm

tested all the safety stuff today. got slammed when the front tucked braking from 3rd WFO in a parking lot. scuffed the hand guard, broke the bolt for the rear axle slider, and slightly scratched the right side panel (they will rub out). destroyed my joe rocket pants, and got some road rash....

crashed!!!

Postby DEmark » Sun Jun 27, 2004 9:01 pm

Crashed during "backing it in" practice at the local parking lot eh? It was bound to happen sooner or later, you will never find your limits unless you go past them now and then. Glad you are alright. Did you get it on video???? :-)

Glad to see you are still ambulatory and can take nourishment.
Asphalt always wins!!

Iron men and wooden ships, or is it Wooden men and iron ships?

Finally took delivery of the '05 BP. Working hard to remain upright.
Nearly downed it in the sand trying to remember my dirt bike days!
Approaching 850 kms in two weeks of just plain Fun!!!

Would you or anyone else have the site info for the exhaust comparisons?

There is no comparison.....the original muffler weighs 35lbs the M4 was six. With the new Muff you have to have your carbs rejetted and balanced. Then you'll feel the rocket ship. I can take a R1 off the line

BEER + PERQUOCET = comfort

other wise yeah I was banged up for a while.

Crazy part is all that blood that pooled in my abdomen leaked into my ballsack and third leg! now that was uncomfortable. You should have seen this chicks face. We had some fun, she went to wash her hands, I looked down and was in shock . She saw the expression on my face and asked if everything was all-right....I said oh hell no!! nothing's alright. she had a gander and said "OMG I'm leaving and I wouldn't blame you if you never spoke to me again!" Stupid hand jobs. Yes this happens and I unnessesarily spent $45 dollars at the docs office to find out that its normal!
