Rumours of Triumph small capacity bike.

Postby djsbriscoe » Wed Apr 11, 2012 11:07 am

Just read in Motorcycle Sport and Leisure about Triumph planning to produce a new small capacity (upto 350cc) single cylinder 4 valve bike within the next few years.

I just hope MZ produce something as good or better within the same time frame. If not I know what I'll be buying (I'll still keep my Skorpion though).

David.

It would be nice but to be honest I dont think we will see new MZ motorcycles again. They may keep on with the scooters but the name has no cache in the bike world. Unfortunately I think it is destined to be a name bought and sold between manufacturers, like AJS
ES250 Doppelport, ES250, ES250/1, ES250/2,ETS 250, ES150, ETS150, BK350, IWL Pitty, SR56 Wiesel, SR59 Berlin, Troll............ and thats just the German two strokes!
