NEW MZ Rider - Gloucester, UK

Hello from wet, cold & windy Gloucester

I've been looking for a two-stroke trail bike to ride around the back lanes of the Cotswolds for a while and was recently offered a 301 (and most of a second bike as spares) so just couldn't resist.

The 301 runs but has a gearbox problem plus generally needs tidying up. I intend to develop it into a trail bike as some other MZ riders have already done.

My usual ride is a 650 Moto Guzzi with a second Guzzi (a Lario) project that hope fully will be on the road for this summer.

I'd be glad to here from any other MZ riders, especially if you have converted your MZ into a trail bike / dirt bike.
