Hi Dave,

Can't offer any recommendations unfortunately but Powroll and Sebring do exhausts specifically for the RT, I've seen DMC, M4, Remus and Ninja mentioned on here (or on pages linked from here) but no hard info.
I guess the Sebring can't be too loud as it's approved for road use in Germany (but it is a guess  )

'Fraid I can't help much more :(

Cheers, Mike

Another thought I had was, is there a way to take the internal baffle out of the end pipe ? If so you could just drill a couple of extra holes in the baffle then replace it. Not much extra noise and improved gas flow.
Any mods could need jetting changes of course YMMV

Cheers, Mike

RT Muffler

Hi Dave,

Powroll use the Supertrapp IDS2 quiet core and I purchased one. I have to say though waaaaayy to loud and a bad sound to boot. I am not against loud but I can understand the need to avoid unwanted cop attention. I got rid of the supertrapp and bought a Takenaga Basic slip on. It was lightly quiter than the supertrapp but due to its short length still loud. So... I had a small baffle piece made that basically deflects the shockwacve that was creating the high pitched crack that was attracting attention. Its now got a rumble that is loud enough but not too loud, also its alot more open than stock. I didn't rejet yet as I am putting on the 150 kit but I did drop the front sprocket to a 15 to make up for a little low end power loss.

Hope that helps, I have to say its not easy to find 125 exhausts, and then when you do sure would be nice to have a test fbefore you buy.
