Hello folks - as subject I live in Bury St Edmunds sunny Suffolk UK

I have owned a 78' black TS150 for a few years and finally got it legal last week

wondering if there was anyone local to me - an active member(s) to assist with keeping the old girl going and company going to a few shows etc

The bike is in pretty good order and solid but no concours queen - looking forward to putting on a few miles around East Anglia

First riding impressions are good but she seems to drop out of 4 gear - any advice ? Around town its fine so it hasn't stopped me riding her.

Mechanically I'm about as much use as a chocolate fireguard but I'm keen to learn :D

HELLO and welcome

do change the transmission oil of recommend type
may help or use a different brand if your using a newer type modern oil
it may be too slick
if a new slick oil it may soon make your clutch slip

also are you bumping the shift lever with a big riding boot and not feeling it happen

Thanks Dave

I will do an oil change to see if it makes a difference - boot theory doesn't tally though. I will make an effort though to make sure its in 4th correctly. I will also scout for some spares incase its due to wear.

ta! Anyone in the Suffolk area?
