Has any one fitted or can recommend a alternative back brake switch for the TS/Supa 5 as I keep having problems with the standard one even when set up as the manual recommends

I think this might be a good place to start:

One end clamps to a frame member, the other to the brake actuating rod.

the brake switch on a 1955 to 69 bmw is very useful as a replacement on other bikes
and i have never had one go bad....
