I've just moved house and now have a very long garden with a shed at one end and a locked gate at the other. Much more secure, but my routine in the morning is now:
- unlock shed
- wheel bike out of shed
- lock shed
- wheel bike down garden
- unlock garden gate
- wheel bike out of gate
- lock gate
- start bike and go to work.
As I'm sure you can imagine, this is a right pain in the bum if every stage has to include the (bent)centrestand! The fences aren't really up to having an MZ leant against them, so I think a sidestand would make my life much easier. I did get hold of one a few months ago, but the bike I bolted it to got nicked (one reason for moving!).
I'm near Coventry, but I guess a sidestand is small enough to shove in the post.
