Saxon Tour 301

Postby therealche » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:03 am

Promised pictures of my latest aquisition. 1993 Saxon Tour from 1993. Its been sitting in a mates garage for a few years and he has tried to sell it to me a few times before. However since I bust my knee in January I have not ridden a bike as the FJ1200 looks really really heavy. So when Ian offered me the bike again I decided it is what I need to get back on 2 wheels. Nice extras are a mikuni carb, and a full stainless exhaust system. It is a bit of a shed but the aim is to get it back on the road for as little as possible.

Looks fantastic!

Tell me, are those bark busters? Would you mind having a look and letting me know what model fits the 301? I'd like to get some for mine too!

What is the advantage of a mikuni carb over the standard bing 84 most came with?
