SOLD Baghira: Trade motard wheels for enduro (SoCal)

I have a 2000 Baghira and would like to trade somebody my rims/tires for theirs. Photos showing the condition of my wheels/tires (nice shape) can be sent when I return to San Diego next week.

I've got a 2003 baghira 660 and would be interested in trading wheels and tires. Question is would anything thing else need to be swapped caliper,rotor,sprocket etc. My wheels are in good shape with pirelli dual purpose tires that have plenty of tread left. Want to be certain everything bolts right up before I take it apart.

Hello Hanz You're [my] wheels are shrinkrapt and palletized for shipping tomorrow I can one day air [might be pricie] or three day ground.unleUnlessss I hear otherwise . There headin west tomorrow . I included the one new rear tire but well have to deal with the other at a later date it was getting cumbersome just with the two wheels three tires pallet and packaging.when you exchange wheels brother dan might wellcome a hand preparing the wheels for shipping. I think its best if the discs are faceing together in the center posisbly protected with an old tire or some thing so the load is carryied by the rim more or less. ,,BUT WAIT THERS MORE1111 YOUR WHEELS COME WITH AFREE THATS RIGHT FREE COMPLIMENTRY ROLL OF INDUSTIAL SHRINKRAP. well actually ill probly get some of that back with my wheel. sorry no time for spellcheck

Wheels got fed ex d today, I went with 3 day [ground transport] after getting the price for overnight [air]get this,$690 . Looks like they'll be getting there tuesday mourning Apparently sat and sun don't count with three day or overnight, also I noticed the front tire was deflated and seamed oily[ I wiped them [both] down w/armer al wheel and tire cleaner maybe unrelated , let me know. There is a brand new continental in packing but it's an 18 [rear]. Fyi fed ex will ship mc wheels individually its easier and cheaper because you get $499. Per item insured for free.[i think it best to protect the disc rotor with something perhaps five gallon paint bucket lid seams about right. Ive never heard of tires being hurt by wheel and tire cleaner but feel free to send mine dirty.

Loving the enduro wheels, Bob. Simple swap. Same hubs, in case anyone is wondering. A little tight, getting the calipers to squeeze in between the rims and rotors on those 17"wheels.

Exelent ! ,,,[ now for the second act, ] I just found out the motard rotor is 10mm larger than enduro, you may want to check to see if your getting full contact on pads.

I think we need to swap front caliper mounting brackets, your missing 6 mm of contact on pads what do you think???

also the speedo drive got to be different with different wheel size. how far off does yous read?

Hey there Hanz have you thought about a caliper swap? youll get better braking and ill get my bike off the milkcreat also check your speedo you need my cable drive thingie on axel
