Something like it is much needed, although that maybe looks a bit over-engineered and pricey for what it is. I wonder if it's any better than these:

I once tried using a bit of cloth wrapped around the adjustment strap that goes across the wrist of my gloves. It was hard to keep the cloth in the right place, but I've just realised it might work if I put a hole in one corner of the cloth and stick my index finger through it to hold it along the side of my hand.
I got a blue one to go with the smoke

I have spoken to the guy who is marketing the visor wiper and it is different to the two examples you have put the liinks for, they will be fine for rain clearing as the visor is already wet, the "new" type has a reservoir with a wet sponge and a wiper which can be used to remove bugs etc on a dry visor thats why it may seem a bit over engineered and therefore a bit pricey.

P.S. I am not involved with this product, just seemed a good idea and the guy has invested a fair amount of time and money to get it to this point.

Should have kept his money in his pocket. Its a high tech expensive "solution" for a problem that is not that much of a problem. Might sell a few to people who have to have the latest gadget but I can't see it being any more successful that the Turbo-Visor and the many gadgets that have followed ( Just missed a box of brand new unused turbo-visors when a local bike shop was clearing out an old lock up of theirs!)

39/6 was just less than £2 ( 20 shillings to the pound)
Always difficult to workout the equivalent today but one site says it is equivalent to around £34 today, Mars bar index puts it closer to £46.

In 1965 a CZ 175 cost £142, you could get a helmet for £3 to £4 and a Lewis Leathers jacket for £7!

I always wondered about the gyroscopic effect of that disc bolted to your head ( well you know what I mean  )
