Hi Robiedubois,
In my opinion you would be wise just to replace the affected wheel bearing. Very cheap if purchased from a bearing stockist. Many can be found via the internet. Just quote the bearing number which will be etched onto your old bearing. This can then be replaced by any competent home mechanic.
Further to the above the wheels on the MZ are manufactured by Lightcon of USA origin. (please someone correct me if I am mistaken) and are high quality. A Fazer wheel would certainly be designed and manufactured to do exactly what a Fazer requires-no more. Manufactured to cost and of average quality so why change the wheel?
Not sure if this helps, but consider your options.
Kind Regards,
Gary.
