MZ ETZ 125 Front caliper

Postby tony211289 » Tue Oct 01, 2013 1:48 pm

Hay guys.

The thread on my front caliper has completely came off the metal, never seen anything like that before, thus I need a new caliper or a way to adapt it. Has any one got a front caliper which they wish to sell? The ones on ebay are ridiculous.

Alternatively I thought maybe a new thread can be tapped in, but the hose connector will have to be adapted. Does anyone know where I could get a hose made just for such situation?

Dont know if this is the right location to post this. Sorry in advance if it's not.

year of bike and picture of part helps
and are you talking about the threads in the caliper where the brake line hooks
if so you may use a helicoil but it may leak
