Etz lights/key position

Postby Lpo90 » Thu Nov 28, 2013 3:17 pm

Hi, if I turn to 7 o'clock position whilst in the ignition only the back light comes on not the front, is this right or should the front light come on also. Front only comes on at 8 o'clock position.

That unit's from an old Mini.

You can get a connector that has a pilot bulb in it which dangles underneath the connectors and shines through teh round window you see under the pins. Here's one: http://www.somerfordmini.co.uk/eshop/in ... ts_id=4821

Although it's probably best to replace the sealed beam with a good second hand light unit if you can find one.
