who pays for this?

Postby Nobog » Sat Nov 30, 2013 4:26 pm

Who pays for this website? As a previous owner of an MZ Tour and Mastiff (although a 125 RT - my daughters - is still tucked away in the garage), I enjoy watching and reading the posts on this site. Of course I always watch for the post where it states that MZ is starting back up but no such luck to date.

So.. I'm glad there is still this forum available for such a great piece of motorcycling history - my Tour will go down as my all time favorite motorcycle - but I was just curious as to how long this site will be with us?

Happy travels,

Jim

Boris is the grand master and has made arrangements for the advertising you see around the edges to pay the bills

i have volunteered to be the master of the big eraser for when someone decides to POST a "NO NO "

like a picture of a good looking woman on a bike with most of her clothes missing....
out right spam
keep in mind site needs to be kid rated so they can find parts for there mz scooter and simson moped

and then there is the guy that uses an mz for a daily driver
he may live in a country that will pull the plug on us if the pictures are TOO OVER THE TOP no nudes
and deprive him of an info source to repair his ride

so far it been 13 years i have XED OUT A BUNCH OF SPAM
3 pictures that were a bit much and only one post where the users were told to put a cork in it ..and erased
the posts

I've never seen any advertising... And always wondered the same thing. Thanks Boris!
You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.

And a fine job you do!
Oh and what advertising? I see nowt... mind you I link right to the forum and have every blocker known to mankind running on Firefox. I use Chrome if I have to visit a site that won't work with blockers running.

Three cheers for Boris and Dave!

I rode for 12 years with no car so I feel for the guys that ride a bike because of a lack of money
To support a car an love to provide info to help them keep
Them running
I am happy on the rt125 around my town and the Saxon Tour . does the road work
the 660 is getting to be a chore as my legs are going

Thanks for that, Now I know not to respond to any of those trolls and let you get em ...
I knew someone cleans it, cos I've seen posts disappear ... without a trace.
Cool.
