2003 Derbi GPR50R Replica
Almost-NEW, Street Legal, 50cc 2-cycle, 6-Speed, less than 100 miles on the clock.

This bike is located in Southwestern Ohio USA, Northwest of Cincinnati. An hour from Dayton, and approx two hours from Indianapolis IN, Columbus OH, Lexington KY, and Louisville KY.

I acquired this bike two weeks ago, new with warranty, from my local MZ dealer (2-1/2 hours away), the same time I acquired my MZ 125SM. The GPR now has 55 miles on it (and climbing slowly). The rider position is just too aggressive for me and I don't see it as a daily commuter like I had originally intended (obviously, since I have it license and insured for street use). My 125SM is filling that roll nicely. It has an entirely different power range than the 125SM, but performance is similar. It will easily do 60mph and with some effort can probably touch 70. An aftermarket exhaust will push it up to 80 and other performance goodies will take it even further. I was considering putting it on the track, but I just can't bring myself to trash a beautiful bike like this for the evil pleasure of racing. Dealerships sell these for US$3399 (the 2005 model is over $1100 more), plus tax, plus setup fee, plus document fees. To buy one new, it would cost you nearly $4000. Top-notch Italian parts. Excellent beginner bike, lightweight track racer, or (if your back can take it) an awesome ecomomy commuter. This is a full-size bike for adults, not a kid toy. Often mistaken for a 600cc or 250cc sportbike. Personally, I can't flat-foot it (short inseam). I've owned 30+ bikes over the past decade and believe it or not this one by far gets more looks than any other. I don't regret getting it, but I do regret that my back just can't take it. It's a gorgeous bike. If the wife would let me, I'd probably park it in the living room. Hehe...

I would like to get US$2500 out of it, but that is negotiable. Will consider TRADES of all kinds (jn fact, I prefer trades), particularly motorcycles and especially MZ products. I've owned a Skorpion and loved it. Now own the 125SM and love it as well. If interested, email me (or send me PM).

I keep forgetting this is an International online community. The bike is in the United States and I'm talking about US dollars. I've corrected my original post to reflect that info. Thanks!

I've put about 100 miles on this bike since I originally started this thread. It's a fun bike, seems to be getting stronger the more I ride it, but it still just isn't the bike for me really. Still for sale or trade. Would love to get my hands on another MZ of some kind! ;-)
