MZ TS125 Rebuild (Cafe Racer)

Postby Burridge » Sun Jan 05, 2014 12:32 pm

So in August I crashed my TS125, into the back of a car.
The bike ended up looking like this:

The frame was bent, clocks snapped off, bars & seat pan bent and broken indicators.
My leg ended up looking like this:

I'd sit in my shed with my crutches taking the bike apart completely, bought a new frame & had it powder coated, new speedo mounts, indicators etc and began putting it all back together!
And this is how it stands today, next on the list is a 12v conversion 8)

Oh and I also treated it to some Hagon rear shocks and a new back tire ;-)

The rod in the middle goes from my hip to my knee, with 3 screws holding it in place
Took the surgeons 5 hours, I'd probably throw up if I saw how it's done :smt009
