Newbie from West Sussex...

Recently bought my first bike, an MZ TS 125, she's an absolute beaut. Not on the road yet, next months paypack can't come soon enough!

Here's a few picks of her, thinking of recovering the seat in brown leather, brown grips and geting some classic bar end mirrors for her... What do we think?

and take care of it .. you may need it to serve you for many years

and remember any bike under 350cc is just a large MOPED do not flog it for more than it can stand...
going back to walking or riding the bus STINKS

Yeah the previous owner kept her in immaculate condition.

Believe me, the thought of never having to get the bus to work again is something special.
I'll treat her right, not to worry...

Welcome to the madhouse youngster! A fine choice of bike, and with only a little routine maintenance it will give good service for many years. There is a wealth of experience on this forum so don't be afraid to ask.

do save some money back and find a basket case for parts
the way you wind up with an old collectible bike is get it when your young
40 years will go by before you know it

over here my mz bikes are rare
but the 1953 and 1963 bmw's i have are unobtanium
unless you happen to be first in line at my estate sale

My bike came with the original repair manual, plus the fact i'm an apprentice mechanical and electrical engineer i'm sure will come in handy when she's not at her peak...

She's in good hands, but if there is anything i just can't figure out, i'll be sure to ask,

only thing id say is bar end mirrors… look great, but with the vibes from a old stroker like our MZ,s not a great idea in practise. she's a classic, id say keep her as standard. only upgrades id suggest, convert her to 12v if you can, and get electronic ignition. makes it a far better daily runner. great choice of bike.
