Split link failed on the riveted side five miles from home !!!!!!!!!! found an old bucket handle

at the side of the road and a nice man donated a 530 split link side plate and bang bang bend bend I am back on my way home at 20 mph
If only one bike was enough..............

i always carry a couple of those links

and on a trip a saved chain that has some life left

nothing like having one slide down the road and go in the woods on a trip

went back later and found it with a metal detector after a bit of looking
