It started ,fresh fuel, charged battery, the battery off my ZZR1100 fits thats crazy. The kickstart pawl rachet thing is catching and its making an god awful noise the return springs strong though whats going on ?

After investigation the kickstart shaft assembly has been assembled incorrectly . The pin on the shaft is not lining up with the cam plate so that the ratchet is not disengaging just needs taking apart and reassembling in the right way But the cotterpin that holds the kickstart on is blooooooooody tight heated it with a blow lamp and whacked it it with a big hammer. It's getting drilled out when I finish this nice coffee and biscuit......

Got a new kickstart cotter pin put it all back together I now have a kickstart that works ok and I can run the engine for more than 10 seconds now and it sounds good. Will try to sort the front brake next will update with pictures ...
