Alarms, Locks, Tracking

I have been looking around for a good lock and I'm also looking for a good alarm or maybe just a tracking device. Anyone have any luck with any of these? I was looking at the Scorpio for an alarm and a chain/padlock type setup for a lock. I live in SF and bikes get ripped off here all the time. The only way I can get full coverage is if I park the bike in a garage! I have to look at some more insurance companies and see if they offer anything better. Any info a plus.

some guys here build a building just big enough for the bike
and make it look like a mower is inside (or even better a kids play house)
looks great with a dark green sign on it that says i love my deere

make the end be a hidden door and if know one sees you stash the bike
they may not know where it went

one guy lives in a art deco style house and has a jib hoist to set his
HD fat boy on the flat roof when he is not using it

HAHA, yeah, good idea. I have already seen those shed type things. I live in the shitty tho and have nowhere to put anything like that. Otherwise I would be set.

I had an audiovox ma-200 alarm on my SM. 110dB siren, bump/angle sensor, remote and optional ignition dissable via included relay. Fits nicely under the seat of the SM, mouted to the top of the air box with double-stick tape. It's a pretty simple install if you have the wire diagram for the bike (which I posted here earlier this spring...). also pretty cheap, I paid $50 for mine on clearance, it's a discontinued model.

the house trailer guys here have a screw in anchor that works great
it is used as a high wind tie down

but one of them is cheap and hard to get out of the ground once the bike is locked to it

if you use one cover the end with a yellow bucket when not in use
it is a big time trip hazard
