I know that the Skorpion engine is Yamaha but am wondering if there is a list of parts that are sourced from other (more available) bikes. I noticed the other day that my MZ ignition key is embossed with 'Aprilia' so I tried it in my Aprilia Pegaso. Not only does the key fit but the switch is marked exactly the same. The key also fits in my wife's BMW F650 although the numbers on that switch are slightly different. Since the Aprilia and BMW have so much in common I would expect the switches to interchange, although I haven't confirmed that.
I searched the archives for something like an interchange list and didn't find anything but that won't be the first time I have hunted for something with the wrong search arguments.

There is an older one -
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6481 should work.
Been there, not found a thread and been pointed the right way before.
