Hello everybody

Postby arny » Mon May 28, 2018 2:25 pm

Greetings from a new MZ owner!

I've recently bought an MZ ETZ 250, a work in progress which I'm finishing, hopefully soon. I trust I'll find valuable advice on this forum!

BTW, in my country MZ's of the communist age were popular because they were easily available, however the newer post-communism models are almost non-existent. Old ETZ and earlier models and their parts can still be found so they're quite affordable oldtimers here. An interesting fact for ETZ owners from the West is, although ll ETZ models imported here are of the Luxus (Deluxe) variant, i.e. have front disc brake and rev-counter, practically none of them have the Mikuni oil pump, they're all pre-mix.

Long live MZ's and all old "strokers"! 8)

Thanks for the welcome!

Yes, I understand MZ's perhaps aren't quite the most popular bikes in the world, but it doesn't matter. What matters is that people who are here really love them 8)
