Hi
After five years I drive again my bike.
I noticed that the fuel filter is almost empty while driving. I checked the fuel tap and venting the tank,ok.
What I need to check in the next step before I remove the carburettor?

remove line from Carb and let air out of system then hook it back up
always work on fuel system out side of your shed or work area
you and your bike are not for use in low earth orbit

I have that too on my Jawa, air in the in-line filter, but is that a problem?

Trying it the Evel Knievel-way had me wake up in hospital...
On the air bubble in the in-line fuel filter: shaking it a bit, while the fuel tap is open, helps to let the air escape into the fuel tank. Or disconnect at the base, let the air U-tube out & then reconnect. But I don't think its a problem either way.

I live 50ft above sea level 
I'll check your tips over the weekend.Despite the very low fuel level in the filter, the bike works.
But it does not develop power smoothly
