Mileage: 8,227kms (as you probably know, all UK Baghiras came with kms clock)
MoT: passed today! No advisories.
Currently on SORN.
I bought this as a winter project last year. Since then, I have
Installed a "BSM Future" exhaust (previous one had been chopped and was leaking)
Changed the engine oil
Changed the oil filter
Changed the air filter and oiled it
Replaced the "modified" airbox with a standard one
Changed the spark plug for an NGK Iridium jobby
Changed both front fork seals
Changed front fork oil
Installed Acerbis neoprene stanchion protectors
Drilled and helicoiled pinch bolt holes on right fork leg. Replaced pinch bolts.
Cleaned and lubed the chain
Installed a new front brake lever
Installed a new clutch cable
Installed two new mirrors
Put new MZ stickers on tank cover
Replaced a few rusty fasteners with stainless steel ones
Fitted a new headlight
The engine runs well. No issues that I'm aware of. The battery is OK - charges on the Optimate without problem - but might need replacing for peace of mind. I don't know how long it's been on the bike.
I have two original keys and the original handbook.
I'm looking for £1750.
Beware that the Baghira is a tall bike as standard. The MoT tester had to ask for my help today! Seat height is around 900mm IIRC.
However, I do have two lowering links (dog bones) which reduce the rear by 30mm. I can also supply two bar risers so that you can drop the yokes down by 30mm. This helps avoid creating a chopper by just doing the rear These would be foc to the purchaser.
