SM125 2005 Colours

Postby TomLondon1978 » Thu May 19, 2005 10:45 am

Is the black one matt at all or is it all shiny? I'm just not sure what to go for either the black (if its matt) or silver if its shiny...... I've looked at pics but all the black ones seem really shiny and makes it look a little plasticky, anyone help me or have some good pics?

Don't know about the '05s

But my '02 is black, the finish on the paint is actualy quite nice, the black is deep and reflective, not "plasticky" at all... Of course thats before I put 6000km of tharshing on it :-D Now there are a couple places where the paint has been scratched or worn to show the base plastic underneath :? eeks, it's Kawasaki Green!

Well bro for ur info the SM model are coming with a paint job either Yellow or black (mine is Yellow with black plastic underneath), while the SX come with green and red which is a plastic color. Even the replacements parts for Yellow and black are more expensive than the SX. Dont worry bout the paint job as long as u didnt put or spill strong chemical or scratch it badly. It will always look as new after every polish. Mine is '03 model use it for almost 2 yrs but people always thot its a brand new one. Good brand polisher help mantain the color and provide layer from sun or rain. :-D

ohhh yeah!!!!!!!!!

I love them...

When the guy delivered my Bike last week, he could not believe I brought it from a photo, and that Id never been into the shop and I never actually sat on an MZ before.
He was shocked!!!!!!

I just told him I done all my research on the net,,,,,,,,

The photo I had was of a 2003 SM in blue, and had the metalic rims....

the black ones on my bike make the wheels look thicker and the bike look meaner. I love em.....

The graphics and styling is slightly different on the 2005 too....

I will take photos when I get home and PM you.........

Ché

I cant tell you how beautiful my bike is,,,,, I have a matching box and silver lever guards too.........
