Just dropping a thank you and intro as just joined the forum, was into MZ's back in the mid 80's and bought a TS 250 again earlier this year after a yearning for the smell and buzz of a two stroker again after a few 4 strokes over the years.
I am based in S. Wales UK near Abergavenny and wondering how many others are in this area and what bikes you're riding.

Abergavenny huh? I am 25 miles from you..

You know- I never have seen a TS250 up close in the flesh. Maybe we could arrange this? have an '87 ETZ250 (with 300cc piston) and a '90 ETZ251.

Haven't actually ridden it yet as had a few health issues this year (just my luck after spending 18 months trying to find one again) waiting for one of two operations atm. :smt005

I used to live in Penarth. I now live near Hengoed.

Unfortunately, although I have been a member of the club for around 3 or 4 years now, I have never actually gone to a meet or camp. I would like to though- I had every intention to. In my circle of 'biker friends', myself and my brother are of course the only ones with MZs, or indeed anything that isn't sporty..

I'm hoping to get well after the surgery and if all OK will try and get to one or two of next years meets, in the meantime I am hoping to get to the monthly meet of the South Wales section coming up shortly but will have to be in the car.

What?? MZ not sporty? I politely disagree, sir.
I believe they have a track record in ISDE (which is the penultimate form of motor sports), and also the 250cc ETZs have been used as a on-track racing class, in the UK. And there's bound to be more, like a 2 weeks endurance round-trip to Turkey or the like.
